Here at innocent, we’re on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we’ve gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval).

It’s nice to be able to say things like that but we’re not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it’s possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we’re trying to get better in pretty much every way. And that’s where this job comes in.

what you'll be doing

Here at innocent, we’re going through an exciting period of growth, getting our drinks into the fridges of more drinkers across Europe.  We just landed a new brand and company purpose: we want to make it easy for people to live well, through the delicious goodness of fruits and vegs, delivering an additional billion portions of F&V.  So, if you’re someone who dreams big too, this might just be the moment you have been waiting for… 

As a key member of the UK&I leadership team, you will be driving the UK&I business and marking decisions to reach our in-year financial targets, while always keeping the consumer and the long-term growth strategy at the heart of decision making. 
With your marketing team, you will be the one building next year plan for UK and Ireland, while delivering the in-year plan.

And as part of the “Local Marketing and Execution” team, you will be experienced at working with all our markets in Europe (your peers) and with a central marketing team, as innocent is a matrix organization. Objective is to influence the group plans and then to adapt them for your market. 

You will be experienced at leading a team, setting a vision for growth, and nurturing the capabilities for holistic brand building.  Three brand managers, one digital manager and three executional excellence managers will report directly into you.   
 

you'll have

  • Deep understanding of the full marketing mix – both strategic and operational – with strong experience across product development and communications
  • Proven track record of driving business results and building brands for the long term in a senior-level FMCG role within a local market
  • Skilled in collaborating across markets – partnering with European peers and central teams to shape local marketing plans from a central portfolio strategy, while contributing to global product development initiatives
  • Experienced in making smart, strategic trade-offs to balance short-term performance with long-term brand growth
  • Strong ability to set a clear, inspiring vision and champion holistic brand building – both within your team and across the wider organisation
  • Proven leadership experience – building and leading high-performing teams, nurturing talent, and developing the next generation of brand leaders
