Project Manager

location:

Fruit Towers - London

team:

IT and Business Change

Here at innocent, we’re on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we’ve gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval).

It’s nice to be able to say things like that but we’re not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it’s possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we’re trying to get better in pretty much every way. And that’s where this job comes in.

what you'll be doing

A bit about the team

Here at innocent, we’ve been on a journey over the past couple of years, starting the revolution to our core bits of technology and all of the processes we use with the intention to make sure our business runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible as it grows. We’ve finished delivering and stabilising one of our biggest ever change programmes after implementing an ERP, PLM, EDI and HR solution and we need brilliant people to continue leading us through change to support the evolving needs of the business. You’ll be joining a newly formed part of the team, focusing on project delivery and change management into the business.

A bit about the role

We have a very exciting opportunity to join this recently restructured team, as a Project Manager, responsible for delivering some of our largest technology transformation projects. You’ll lead the projects end-to end, setting up the project teams & steering groups, building relationships across the business and being accountable for maintaining the momentum of the delivery.  You will also support more junior members of the team to shape and kick off their projects in initiation phase & support the programme manager to continue improve ways of working and quality across the team. We are looking for a proactive, action-orientated project manager who is quick to take ownership and can work independently, readily building relationships with all and can create an open, collaborative environment within project teams to lead them to success.

As a Project Manager in the Enterprise Services team, you will be:

  • Managing multiple technology projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment across all areas of the business
  • Responsible for maintaining delivery momentum through creating and owning excellent project plans & project documentation, to effectively manage timelines, budget, scope, resource, risks, issues & dependencies.
  • Creating and managing high-performing project teams, and motivating them to deliver the project objectives
  • Proactively building and maintaining relationships across the business, working with your steering group and project teams to manage through ambiguity, risks and issues and working closely with programme and portfolio managers across all innocents change functions to identify and manage dependencies
  • You’ll be working with 3rd parties, where they deliver solutions for us, so would be getting some solid exposure to vendor management and would need to flex your external influencing skills.

you'll have

  • Experience in leading high profile, complex projects through the full project life cycle and managing a variety of projects at once, demonstrating solid prioritisation skills & showing a proactive approach to workload
  • Proficient use and understanding of agile, iterative and waterfall project methodology, and ability to adopt multiple delivery methods simultaneously across technology projects
  • Experience of planning and executing successful technology change by designing, creating, and maintaining detailed project documentation
  • Exceptional people leadership skills, with the ability to create high-performing temporary teams across innocent and 3rd party teams, and motivate them to success
  • Confident and proactive in building & maintaining relationships across all levels of the business to engage stakeholders from the outset and ensure we’re meeting business needs

you'll get

  • A chance to be a part of a newly structured team, & contribute to shaping ways of working across the wider team
  • Lead our largest technology transformation projects in Enterprise Services

We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone’s career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further.

In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary (phew), private healthcare, a target-based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies.

We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are.

Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring.

Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
