Junior C#/SQL Developer

Fruit Towers - London

IT and Business Change

innocent started with a simple mission: to make drinks that make it easy to do yourself some good. In 1999 we concocted a few smoothies in our kitchen and tested them on people at a music festival; today we’re blending every type of fruit & veg under the sun and selling drinks right across Europe. We have great ambitions: to show the world that you can build a successful business that cares about more than just profit, and to leave things better than we find them. We’re proud to call ourselves Europe’s favourite little healthy drinks company, but we’re still growing. And that means we need more brilliant people who share our ambition, to join in with the next, most exciting, part of our story.

what you'll be doing

Over the next 5 years we are transforming the processes and technologies that sit at the heart of our business.

And for this reason, we’re looking for a developer to join our growing data and development team. We’re responsible for many transactional, data processing and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions which serve the needs of teams across our business. These systems are crucial for the ongoing success and expansion of our operations across Europe.

Whilst most of your time will be spent developing in .NET or SQL, you will also get to use other Microsoft development tools such as SSIS and PowerShell. You’ll provide creative solutions to a wide range of data-driven requirements and work closely with our IT Projects and IT Service Delivery teams, and have the responsibility for helping shape and deliver projects and enhancement related change.

As we grow, we’re using both internal and external development to add to the list of solutions, which means you’ll get to work with existing systems and help integrate new ones - lots of which are in the cloud.

you'll have

  • hands on experience using C# or other .NET languages
  • experience working with SQL Server
  • clear communication to be able to build great relationship with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll have to deliver complex messages in a simple way.
  • the ability to find simple solutions to complex problems and great attention to detail.
  • experience in creating integration solutions for both cloud and on-premise systems
  • experience of troubleshooting and reverse engineering solutions

And any of the following would be the cherry on top

  • hands on integration development experience using SSIS and ideally PowerShell
  • agile development practices and tools experience
  • understanding of Master Data Management challenges / tools

you'll get

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate team, - with broad experience in the SQL  server space - in a business enjoying rapid growth.

You’ll get to work with lots of teams across our business, creating and improving solutions across a number of different types of projects including our financial system, master data solution or forecasting system. You’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the teams we work closely with across the company.

As we take professional development very seriously here at innocent, you’ll be encouraged to constantly develop your skills. You will get access to a range of professional and personal development courses.

In return for everything you can bring, we can offer you an exciting, challenging role in a fast-growing and dynamic business, with plenty of career opportunities in the UK and across Europe as well as a competitive rewards package. We also have some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at. Take a look at our reward page for more details.

If you think you have everything we're looking for and more, then we'd love to hear from you. You'll need to get your skates on though, as applications close soon.

Dolly Parton may have worked Nine to Five but you don't have to. We're all about being healthy and happy here at innocent so we're open to a chat about flexible working. No promises, but we reckon that if it's good for you, then it's good for us.

No agencies please.
