Head of corporate affairs - part time

Fruit Towers - London

General Management

innocent started with a simple mission: to make drinks that make it easy to do yourself some good. In 1999 we concocted a few smoothies in our kitchen and tested them on people at a music festival; today we’re blending every type of fruit & veg under the sun and selling drinks right across Europe. We have great ambitions: to show the world that you can build a successful business that cares about more than just profit, and to leave things better than we find them. We’re proud to call ourselves Europe’s favourite little healthy drinks company, but we’re still growing. And that means we need more brilliant people who share our ambition, to join in with the next, most exciting, part of our story.

what you'll be doing

We are looking for someone brilliant to join the innocent team in a new role.  As our business grows and what is going on in the world around us gets ever more relevant and complex, we need someone to connect the two -  helping us strengthen our plans internally and represent our point of view externally.  This is a brilliant chance to build a capability we really need and to shape how we share our thoughts on important topics with the wider world.

You will be responsible for our corporate affairs approach across the 14 European countries in which we sell our drinks, working with a newly-forming, virtual team of 3 regional innocent affairs leads, reporting into the head of strategy and innocent affairs.

  • own the map of the main external topics relevant to our business in each region and our strategy to deal with them - what should we be doing, are we doing it, did we achieve what we set out to
  • build our public affairs capability to be able to influence those external topics in each region
  • own the topics at an EU level so we are engaging with Brussels where relevant, and have the approach, by issue, packaged and ready to share with next region

you'll have

We are after someone with some heavy hitting corporate affairs experience across multiple countries who can help us structure our approach and train up our team, as well as delivering on our innocent affairs objectives at a European level.

A passion for nutrition and sustainability would be a big help, as would understanding the workings of FMCG.  Speaking a couple of languages never hurts either.

you'll get

In return for everything you can bring, we can offer you an exciting, challenging role in a fast-growing and dynamic business, with plenty of career opportunities in the UK and across Europe as well as a competitive rewards package.  We also have some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at. Take a look at our reward page for more details.

If you think you have everything we're looking for and more, then we'd love to hear from you.

You'll need to get your skates on though, as applications close on 3rd September

Dolly Parton may have worked Nine to Five but you don't have to. We're all about being healthy and happy here at innocent so we're open to a chat about flexible working. No promises, but we reckon that if it's good for you, then it's good for us.

No agencies please.
