IT and Business Change

innocent started with a simple mission: to make drinks that make it easy to do yourself some good. In 1999 we concocted a few smoothies in our kitchen and tested them on people at a music festival; today we’re blending every type of fruit & veg under the sun and selling drinks right across Europe. We have great ambitions: to show the world that you can build a successful business that cares about more than just profit, and to leave things better than we find them. We’re proud to call ourselves Europe’s favourite little healthy drinks company, but we’re still growing. And that means we need more brilliant people who share our ambition, to join in with the next, most exciting, part of our story.

what you'll be doing

At innocent we're going through an exciting period of growth - broadening our product portfolio of delicious drinks, and bringing them to more drinkers by expanding the geographies we operate in.

To support this growth, we’re embarking on a fundamental transformation of our core business systems to support the needs of a business that has grown from small beginnings in west London, to a multi-national FMCG business.

Reporting to the Chief Architect, you'll help to bring together an understanding of innocent business strategy and ambition with the process, technology and data opportunities that will enable us to deliver it. This will allow us to develop our business and technology architecture across multiple functional areas and geographic regions of business operation.

You’ll manage a design forum of critical thinkers from across innocent to gather and evaluate inputs for change, identify, analyse. You’ll also communicate the gaps that need to be filled, and take responsibility for keeping our IT and business change roadmap up to date.

You’ll provide architectural oversight and guidance on how operating models and business processes are deployed within innocent and with our wider partner, supplier and customer ecosystem, enabling us to deliver transformational systems change.

You’ll help to drive technology and process standardisation across systems and geographies, and improve and simplify our architecture to ensure innocent can meet its growth ambitions effectively and efficiently.

you'll have

  • the ability to communicate complex concepts simply and effectively with different audience
  • some hard-won business analysis and architecture experience - you’re able to ask the right questions (including the ones others haven’t thought of) to expose and make connections between the core drivers, processes, and requirements from different functional and geographic areas of the business, and distil these inputs into key capability gaps
  • the ability to spot and challenge requirements that are driven by incumbent ways of working rather than an imperative business need
  • the technology delivery experience to know when something doesn’t sound right, and to spot the gaps others might have missed
  • a love of translating complex concepts, processes, and workflows into simple, easy to understand diagrams
  • a passion for technology - the ability to research and assimilate information from multiple sources, and to assess the applicability of technology to specific business needs
  • the adaptability to have a look at the big picture across multiple workstreams, while being equally comfortable down in the detail of individual project delivery
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and suppliers

you'll get

The opportunity to join a friendly and driven team at the beginning of a ground-up systems transformation initiative, supporting a conscientious business and growth.

You’ll play a fundamental role in shaping how our business will operate for many years to come.

You’ll be involved in architecting cross-functional business processes and aligning them with technology and data solutions covering core financials, supply chain, and product life cycle management.

To do this, you'll be working with subject matter experts from across the business at all levels, and get broad in-depth exposure to the workings of a top FMCG business as it continues to expand across Europe and beyond.

You will help us to keep doing business the right way – keeping innocent one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work, using our B Corp status to inspire wider change, and reinforcing our culture of staying little as we grow big.

In return for everything you can bring, we can offer you an exciting, challenging role in a fast-growing and dynamic business, with plenty of career opportunities in the UK and across Europe as well as a competitive rewards package.  We also have some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at. Take a look at our reward page for more details.

If you think you have everything we're looking for and more, then we'd love to hear from you. You'll need to get your skates on though, as applications close soon.
