Business Analyst (18 month ftc)

location:

Fruit Towers - London

team:

IT and Business Change

Here at innocent, we’re on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we’ve gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval).

It’s nice to be able to say things like that but we’re not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it’s possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we’re trying to get better in pretty much every way. And that’s where this job comes in.

what you'll be doing

A bit about the team

Here at innocent, we’ve been on a journey over the past couple of years, starting the revolution to our core bits of technology and all of the processes we use with the intention to make sure our business runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible as it grows. We’ve got big ambitions to deliver 1billion more portions of fruit & veg to our drinks, and have a number of projects to deliver that will help us get there by transforming the way we work and delivering new capabilities. You’ll be joining a recently formed team who look after our functional applications across Supply Chain, Finance, PLM, People, Commercial and Manufacturing, delivering projects from concept > rollout.

A bit about the role

We have a very exciting opportunity to join this recently restructured team, as a Business Analyst, working alongside the wider Enterprise Service team to own and run our Supply and Finance backlogs, a combination of discrete change requests and in-year tactical projects. You’ll sit in the Architecture & Design team within Enterprise Services but will be delivering these changes through the whole lifecycle, alongside other BA’s, PMs and business stakeholders. You’ll be working with our internal and external partners to take well thought out concepts and turn them into reality, making sure we’re holding the tension between quality and pace, and landing change brilliantly into the business through effective change management.

As a Business Analyst in the Enterprise Services team, you’ll be:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment to design, deliver and roll out technology and process improvement projects across Supply (including manufacturing) and Finance, evolving our existing applications to bring in new capabilities or process improvements
  • Listening to the business and making recommendations for change to form a roadmap for tackling our backlog, building those recommendations out through structured and detailed requirements gathering
  • Supporting the wider team triage and prioritise incoming work based on agreed plans and prioritisation criteria
  • Using, and making recommendation to improve, our existing change governance and ways of working to manage the lifecycle of and ultimately land change back into the business
  • Landing change into our business through brilliant change mgmt. and engagement with users and stakeholders
  • Partnering with and delivering through multiple 3rd party technology vendors and internal change teams
  • Supporting, coaching and mentoring more junior analysts – being an active member of the analyst community

you'll have

  • Experience working with and delivering through 3rd party technology vendors
  • Worked on multiple projects across the project lifecycle of varying scale and complexity, comfortable to lead through each phase of change
  • A passion for transforming businesses through technology
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simply articulate complex problems to form great recommendations
  • Great relationship building skills and a natural ability to build trust through day-to-day interactions
  • A steely determination and clear vision to make the tough calls about what is right, at the same time as bringing people along for the journey

you'll get

  • The chance to be part of a newly structured team, in a newly formed area (and bit) of the business whose job it is to enable and unlock the capabilities needed to deliver on our ambition to deliver 1billion more portions of fruit and veg into our drinkers by 2030.
  • To put your BA skills to good use and learn a whole load of new ones through our BA community, working alongside a great bunch in our core teams, the wider project delivery teams and business teams as a whole. As well as the standard stuff you get for turning up for work, we have some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at.

We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone’s career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further.

In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary (phew), private healthcare, a target-based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies.

We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are.

Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring.

Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
