We're growing really quickly all over the world at the moment and, as we grow, we need to make sure that we can continue to provide a great service in IT to support all the systems that help us create and deliver drinks all over Europe.

 

To help us do that we're looking for someone to lead our 3rd line application and infrastructure support team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a natural problem solver and who refuses to settle for solutions that don't get to the root cause of a problem.

 

Reporting in to our Service Delivery Lead you will recruit and build a strong team around you. Leading and mentoring the team, you'll help them support everything from Exchange or Azure to finance systems and our business critical supply chain systems.

 

Our IT team is based in our London head office but, as well as supporting us here at Fruit Towers, you'll be responsible for delivering the same high level of service to people all over Europe and beyond.

 

you'll have

  • Experience leading a technical team delivering support for infrastructure as well as a wide range of off-the-shelf and bespoke business systems in a wintel environment
  • Natual problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail and a desire to seek simple solutions to complex problems
  • Great communication sklls and the ability to explain technical things in non-technical ways to all levels of the business
  • Determination to find the root cause of problems rather than just dealing with the symptoms
  • Exposure to Microsoft SQL with the ability to read and debug T-SQL code

Any of these would also be a bonus

  • Exposure to Microsoft development languages
  • Experience managing third parties and support providers
  • Familiarity with the types of systems used in the FMCG industry
  • ITIL Foundation or Practitioner qualifications

As we grow we're constantly on the lookout for the best way to do things which means you'll be working with lots of different types of systems which are a mixture of cloud based, on premise, and bespoke developments. On top of that you'll get to work with a great bunch of people in a company that's rapidly growing and always changing. You'll play a fundamental role in how we set ourselves up to support our systems as you build a team around you. 


Through leading your team you'll get in depth knowledge of all the systems that run a successful, global FMCG business.
